| NTP Scotland's New Learner review help line

NTP Scotland has set up a review helpline to assist providers carry out reviews. It has been highlighted by Scottish Enterprise/Highlands and Islands Enterprise on the last few audits that many providers were not carrying our reviews within the required timescale.
Rather than claw money back from providers, NTP have decided to assist providers with carrying out reviews.
For those who can't meet the 13 week deadline, NTP Scotland can actively go out and carry out reviews on providers behalf. For example, if an assessor is off sick, rather than cancel or reschedule, it would be more cost effective for your company, for NTP to make the visit.
Speak to your contract manager for further details of the service, they will also be able to advise you of any cost implications.
To make use of this fantastic service contact Isobel Dobson on 0141 222 9181 or email idobson@ntp.co.uk with details of the candidate and the location.

Futher information:
The NTP Provider handbook/Scottish Enterprise operating rules state:
"The provider will carry out formal reviews every 13 weeks as a minimum. The review record must be signed and dated by the Trainee, Provider and, where applicable, the Employer. A copy of the quarterly review record must be held by the Trainee and the Provider, and where applicable, the Employer. Failure to carry out reviews will lead to recovery of all funding paid out against the Trainee".
